About us

In August 1969, expert machinist Klaus Ellinger recognised the need in Berlin for a turning shop, and founded the “Klaus Ellinger Dreherei” company in Wedding in north-central Berlin. He began as a sole trader and from the outset endorsed

as his guiding principles.

Following these principles it was logical that the Turning Shop Klaus Ellinger constantly increased and got into the field of CNC machining.

Following these principles it was only a matter of time before Klaus Ellinger Dreherei began to grow steadily, and entered the field of CNC machining. Following its first CNC lathe it wasn’t long before the company invested in CNC milling, and as a result the company name was changed to ELLINGER CNC-Zerspanung to reflect the greater range of machining services offered. To meet growing demand for space, the decision was made in 1993 to relocate to larger production halls in the Tiergarten area of Berlin. As growth continued the production area grew gradually to over 3000 square metres, and today Ellinger’s machines work tirelessly from Monday to Friday. Around the clock 80 ELLINGER employees turn, mill, measure and de-burr in three shifts for customers worldwide.
